Vision Inspired Driver Assistance Systems

VI-DAS addresses hand-over and hand-back between automated and manual driving with main performance target of reducing the lack of awareness and attention by the driver, improving the drivers and vehicle response. This project is positioned to address the goals of improved road safety by development and deployment of ADAS and navigation aids in societally acceptable and personalised manner, based on a reliable combination of the overall traffic scene understanding and essential consideration of the drivers physical, mental, demographic and behavioural state. \n These methods are under development and continuously improving thanks to our participation in several EU and private projects.\n VI-DAS Project is co-funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under grant No. 690772.\n
